Through her independent practice Actual Fiction, she develops AI-native systems, tools, and creative direction that turn imagination into a working method. The practice spans foresight, strategy, and scenario development, helping people find direction when there is no playbook yet.

Her work moves between research, strategy, and speculative design, using world-building and prototypes to explore cultural shifts and future living. Through the Actual Fiction newsletter, she develops a vocabulary for how creative organizations build judgment and authorship in the AI era — including the ongoing Creative Infrastructure series.

Earlier in her career, she worked in senior creative planning at OUTPUT — leading creative work for clients including Tencent, The Palace Museum, and Burberry. As an independent creative based in Tokyo and beyond, she has contributed to projects for clients including Transsion, Uniqlo, LVMH, and Boston Scientific. She also served as Senior Experience Designer with the mobile innovation team at J.P. Morgan Chase, joined the Creative Science Track at NEW INC under the New Museum, and led Strategic Partnerships for the Global Design Futures Network. Besides, she holds several patents.

早期，她曾在 OUTPUT 担任资深创意策划，主导服务过包括 腾讯、故宫博物院、Burberry 在内的客户项目。后来作为独立创意人，活跃在东京等地区，参与了 Transsion、Uniqlo、LVMH、Boston Scientific 等品牌的项目。她还曾担任 J.P. Morgan Chase 移动创新团队的资深体验设计师，加入 NEW INC（隶属新美术馆）的 Creative Science Track 驻地项目，并在 Global Design Futures Network 负责战略合作。此外，她持有多项发明专利。

Most creative briefs begin as filled-in forms: objective, audience, tone, deliverables. They may look complete, but often remain at the level of surface description, without truly reaching the problem itself. Actual Brief approaches brief writing differently. The project revitalizes traditional Chinese cultural heritage by integrating digital content and digital technology to support the reconstruction and presentation of cultural relics.《有纹有路》是由故宫博物院与腾讯 T-Museum 联合举办的沉浸式数字展览。项目通过融合数字内容与技术手段，支持文物的重建与展示，重新激活中国传统文化遗产的生命力。

Through advanced technologies such as 3D rendering, image search, AR, UHD naked-eye 3D, panoramic sound, and immersive projection, the exhibition brings new life to ancient architectural patterns and collections.展览运用 3D 渲染、图像检索、AR、超高清裸眼 3D、全景声与沉浸式投影等前沿技术，为古建筑纹样与馆藏文物注入新的活力。

Hyper Nature is a speculative MR application that simulates individuals' energy consumption into a virtual ecology overlaid on top of their daily environments. The unique plants and animals in Hyper Nature are based on eco-friendly NFTs — algorithm generated from personal energy behavior data — allowing individuals to trade within the community or with NGOs in partnership for ecological restoration and biodiversity protection.《超自然》是一款未来概念 MR 应用，将个人能耗数据转化为叠加于日常环境之上的虚拟生态系统。其中独特的动植物以环保 NFT 的形式呈现——由个人能源行为数据通过算法生成——用户可在社区内进行交易，或与合作 NGO 交换，用于生态修复与生物多样性保护。

By analyzing personal behavior data, Hyper Nature incentivizes sustainable behavior by awarding individuals with eco-friendly NFTs that take the form of unique plants and animals. Humanity has been altering nature with human-centered thinking from many perspectives — and our food habits are one of them, causing direct impact. We cultivate and breed species based on our preferences, constantly disrupting local ecosystems and aggravating global warming.长久以来，人类以人类中心的思维方式从多个维度改变着自然——食物习惯便是其中之一，并对生态系统产生着直接冲击。我们依照自身喜好培育和繁殖物种，不断扰乱本地生态平衡，加剧全球变暖。

Econut speculates an alternative future of a more-than-human-centered food lifestyle. In 2025, an ecological snack made from invasive species became popular among citizens. The AI-powered Econut store monitors the status and activities of snakehead fish in New York's Meadow Lake and Willow Lake, recommending daily removal numbers via robots — so that donut-shaped snacks can be made from all their edible parts.《Econut》构想了一种以多物种为中心的未来食物生活方式。2025 年，一种以入侵物种为原料的生态零食在市民中广泛流行。由 AI 驱动的 Econut 商店实时监测纽约 Meadow Lake 与 Willow Lake 的黑鱼动态，通过机器人推荐每日清除数量——从而将黑鱼的所有可食部位制作成甜甜圈形状的零食。

Each Econut carries a unique number allowing consumers to track the specific invasive species used, functioning as a medal for each consumer's contribution to balancing the local ecosystem. This led to the Ecologarian Lifestyle Movement — a food movement focused on eating as a means of eco-balancing.每个 Econut 都附有唯一编号，消费者可据此追溯所用入侵物种的来源，它如同一枚勋章，记录着每位消费者对当地生态平衡的贡献。这一实践催生了「生态饮食主义生活运动」——一场以饮食为手段、以生态平衡为目标的食物运动。

The concept is not only a speculation of an alternative food future, but also a practice of non-human centered thinking — providing unusual perspectives on humanity in its comprehensive ecological context.这一概念不仅是对另类食物未来的未来概念探索，更是非人类中心思维的一次实践——从更宏观的生态视角提供关于人类存在的另类思考。

Skin Database speculates on the possibility of DNA-digital data storage on human skin, inquiring into an alternative relationship between the human body and our digital memories. It imagines that due to digital data overload, people start to archive information on the skin to take advantage of the outstanding capacity and longevity of DNA strands.《皮肤数据库》探讨了将 DNA 数字数据存储于人体皮肤的可能性，追问人类身体与数字记忆之间的另类关系。作品设想：由于数字数据过载，人们开始将信息存档于皮肤，以利用 DNA 链卓越的存储容量与耐久性。

The work comes with four parts: MemoryTags — a genetically-engineered synthetic skin tissue that transplants into the human body for data storage. TACTAG® machine — a converter that loads digital data into the human body through transplanted MemoryTags, transferring binary codes into DNA strands. Embody — a monologue video showcasing the experience of Ashley, a speculated TACTAG® user who uploads her memory to her body but ends up with unforeseen consequences. Located in Fabcafe Hida in Japan, Ikebana Chandelier is an interactive installation that functions as a lighting piece celebrating the Japanese spirit of wabi-sabi through ikebana and kumiki (wood joinery).《生花吊灯》是位于日本飞騨 Fabcafe 的互动装置，兼具照明功能，通过生花（ikebana）与组木（kumiki）工艺，致敬日本侘寂（wabi-sabi）美学精神。

The project started with a week-long immersion in wood joinery led by experienced craftsmen — familiarizing with various materials and techniques, and gaining insights into local culture and its connection to traditional Japanese practices.项目始于为期一周的木工接头沉浸体验，由经验丰富的工匠主导——在熟悉各类材料与工艺的同时，深入了解当地文化及其与日本传统实践之间的关联。

Drawing inspiration from Tokujin Yoshioka and Sou Fujimoto, the design incorporates a vertical language using commonly available wood sticks. Discarded wood sticks from local carpenters' shops were repurposed by highlighting their inherent beauty through strategic cuts. Digital joints fabricated via 3D printing perfectly complement the wooden elements, with hollow structures exposing the dynamic textures of the materials.汲取吉冈徳仁与藤本壮介的设计语言，作品以常见木棍为材料，构建出垂直线条的视觉语言。当地木工坊废弃的木棍经过精心裁切，焕发出材料本身的内在美。通过 3D 打印制作的数字榫卯与木质元素完美契合，镂空结构则将材料的动态肌理完整呈现。

The design aims to give rebirth to traditional Japanese culture by integrating technology, creating novel experiences for people to learn and play with.作品旨在以科技激活日本传统文化，为人们创造全新的学习与互动体验。
